Bahmani Tombs Heritage
The Bahmani Tombs in Ashtoor, Bidar (Karnataka), are a majestic royal necropolis housing 12 large, lofty mausoleums built during the 15th and 16th centuries. They feature massive bulbous domes, Persian-style arches, intricate colored tilework, and Quranic calligraphy blended with unique regional Deccan and Hindu architectural elements.
